NMPA and CMDE regularly publish draft technical guidance documents for public comment (公开征求意见). This page lists current open consultations.

How NMPA guidance consultation works​

  1. CMDE publishes a draft guidance on its website with a defined comment period (usually 1 month)
  2. Stakeholders (including overseas manufacturers and their China Agents) may submit written comments in Chinese via the CMDE website or designated email
  3. CMDE reviews comments and may revise the draft before publishing the final guidance
  4. Final guidance is published on the CMDE website and comes into force from the date of publication (or a specified future date)
