How to Search for an NB by Device Type​

  1. Go to NANDO
  2. Select New Approach Legislation → Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR) or Regulation (EU) 2017/746 (IVDR)

  4. Review each NB's scope of designation — this shows which device classes and types they are designated for
  5. Click on a specific NB to see full scope, contact details, and certificate information

When you receive a NB certificate, you can verify the NB's designation number and scope on NANDO. The certificate number and NB identification number should match the NANDO entry.
