DAPI — Swissmedic Product Database

Overview​

DAPI (Database of Authorised Products and Information) is Swissmedic's database of authorised therapeutic products including medical devices. DAPI is the Swiss equivalent of EUDAMED — smaller in scope but serving the same function: Swiss market registration and notification.

Public vs Restricted Data​

Publicly accessible: device name, model, manufacturer name and country, CH REP details, device class, authorisation status and validity dates. Restricted (registrant/Swissmedic only): DoC details, NB certificate numbers, complete technical specifications, vigilance report references.

How to Register in DAPI​

  1. Create a user account with Swissmedic
  2. Log in to the DAPI submission portal at dapi.ch
  3. Submit device information using the appropriate form (notification or full registration)
  4. Attach required documents (DoC, NB certificates, labelling)
  5. Pay the applicable registration fee

DAPI and UDI​
